A holdings report (Swedish: innehavsrapport) is a printed certificate showing which shares a shareholder holds in a company according to the digital share ledger in NVR. The report shows, for example, the number of shares, share numbers and share class.
Unlike a share certificate, a holdings report is not a security. It can therefore be replaced if lost, without any cancellation procedure. It is the information in the share ledger that applies, and the report is a snapshot of it.

A share certificate is written proof that a person owns certain shares in a limited company.
